    The plan is to use them as internal structure. I'm going to cut out some foam stringers as well, which will be inletted into the ribs. Balsa sheeting will go over all that and then glassed. Oh....i will be adding lots of lightening holes in the ply and foam!!

    That's a condition I haven't tried...YET! I do have upline and downline snap conditions that are very similar to what you described, but they are dictated by either low or high throttle positions. They've been working well for me, but I may play around this season with the surface deflection...

    I'm pretty sure those are the ones....they're the only AL ones! I looked back thru my order history , but they're too far back (tells me how far I drug this thing along:(). Here's some more pics....I can't measure mine as they're packed away in boxes at the moment.

    I bought this stuff and "welded" two exhaust stingers back onto the canisters. Followed the instructions, and everything work and looked OK during the weld process.....BUT the stingers fell off during the first flight!! That's about all I can say about it. BTW - I do have experience with arc...

    I consider a 3 hour drive a relatively close IMAC contest. A few are shorter, but most are longer. Typically the contests wrap up early on Sunday, leaving plenty of time to get home.

    The only vid I have was shot on VHS at an airshow in the mid-80's. I really need to get it digitized and on a DVD. Meanwhile....here's the Krill ready for travel to its new home (sometime in Feb).
