    Hey, yes they are 8" slim just what is needed for this airplane, but you will not see these rims in the final product, my brother is making scale fiberglass caps which will hide the original metal steel wheel rim

    inside of wing panel just about done and then sheet it landing block since no retracts on this one, servo plywood installed and paper tube inside for guiding the wires to the servo.

    Thank you, they will be available sometimes in 2015 directly from Aloft Hobbies. I will post pictures of the fully working radio once we have it, I have been flying my own design for a while now using the same electronics and it is bullet proof

    the shear webs are done, working on the landing gear blocks, since I will not install retracts on this one, but the re inforcement I made , not glued yet, I am not pleased with them, will add another piece of plywood towards the stube to anchor everything properly

    The airplane will weigh between 80 and 90 lbs so the gear has to witstand much more then this when landing, and no I don't grease all the landings LOLOL
