Oh...forgot to mention another aid that helps me a lot. If I'm having trouble focusing during a round, I'll talk to myself (out loud) while I'm flying, walking myself through each part of a maneuver....mostly just a whispered voice but not always. In full scale I used to talk really loud...- Pistolera

That's been my approach for awhile. I try hard NOT to look or go near them....sometimes impossible. Knowing "whatever they are" can be a real mental distraction during future rounds. Again, for me I credit pistol shooting for teaching me that!- Pistolera

YES! Get the best equipment you can afford. I learned this lesson in competitive pistol shooting. We too often tend to think that we're not good enough for a high-end pistol to make a difference, but if the one you're using cannot hold X-ring groups at the distances shot, then you never...- Pistolera

No, not really. Leave the yaw angle in, just focus on maintaining wings level during the pull to vertical. Hold your hand out palm down and level. Now yaw it 30 degrees to the left (or right). Cam....all lines and figures should be wind-corrected. That is, you will need to crab, or angle (with yaw only) into the wind on horizontal AND vertical lines to keep the TRACK (not attitude) of the plane on the line intended. When I saw YAW only, this means you must keep the wings level...- Pistolera

Steve....I'd still love to set up a crow condition on your Dalton, so the inboard goes up, middle down, and outside remain as ailerons....just to see how it would work on an extended downline. I can envision an 8-point roll on the way down after a hammerhead :devil-dance:- Pistolera

Scale The Naked Truth of Covering a Plane
When I recovered my 3DHS Exra I didn't get the leading edge of the green hot enough (Ultracote). It was lapped over the white because doing it the other (correct) way let the green show through the white. Anyway, on maiden it blew off, scared the crap outta me, but I got it back down...- Pistolera

Maybe i missed it, but if you're not hooking up a servo to the inboards, how will you secure them in position?
