I am going to attempt the canopy replacement on the Behemoth Yak (2) today. I did get the clamps on the exhaust extensions so that means I need to get busy with other things. Here is the reason I need to replace the canopy on the Behemoth Yak. Doah.... As most of you may remember, this...

    Scale 50% Dalotel 165

Dang.... I have been trying to get caught up on everything here since I have had a few days off from work. I had no idea you had one of these. Not sure I am going to be able to ever duplicate your amount of passion or tenacity, but I am determined to do the best job I am capable of. As earlier...

CARF Models MEPHISTO and some other favourites

Oh I "DO" like that jet. Heck it looks so stable even in the obvious heavy winds. The take off and landing was so smooth. Could something like this be in the future for an old guy like me? Hmmm.....

Always loved Marvin. He was like my idol when I was growing up and watching cartoons on Saturday mornings with a big bowl of Froot Loops or Lucky Charms. Geez, does this give my age away? Hee hee.... Save him for me. I may need something like him on my up and coming "GREEN" 330. LOL

Alert! Is HOBBICO Next? Hobbico files for bankruptcy

I am inclined to agree with you gents. Beside the fact that in the past Hobbico as basically told me to get "bent" over something that needed attention and was completely under warranty, the hobby industry is changing so rapidly that it is difficult for anyone to continue as things were in the...

I didn't get much of an opportunity this afternoon to work on the Big Yak like I had hoped and planned. It seems my youngest daughter had other ideas on how I would spend a rain day off from work. Being she is now a new home owner, she saw fit to keep Daddy busy hanging smoke alarms, new window...

So I just watched all the videos from the link you provided. What a completely kick ass machine. I wonder though... will it print me some more red headed 3w's? Seriously speaking, to be able to design and print and fly your own design plane.... How cool is that?

The thing about these 3D printers that really entices me is the fact the possibilities are basically limited only to your own creativity.

Tanks bro! I am not too sure about weight. If I were to make a guess, I would say "even steven" for the header vs the stock exhaust. As for the canister and mount, really not much. The mount weighs like an ounce. The canister is very light. Probably six ounces. For the sake of an argument we'll...

Pilot 40% 330 Recover and Build

I will be getting back to the 330 covering later this evening. Time permitting of course. I actually have made some progress with a possible scheme. I will entice you all with a hint. As mentioned previously, I really very much loved the Apple Green/White/Black/Silver scheme I recovered the...

Ok, here we go. Test run done and I am actually impressed. As expected, I did loose about 100 rpm off the top end. But that could be due to the fact that I had the BE 62 tuned to the stock muffler. I noticed after the test run that there was quite a bit of "splatter" on the bottom of the fuse...
