    Walbro Fuel inlet pipe

Hate to dispute you gentlemen, however I have turned the metal inlets with no damage. They are usually a "pressed" fit. The fittings on the BE 124 as well as one of my DLE 111 V3 engines. (For what ever reason, it was installed opposite of what it needed to be and I did not want to turn the carb...

Pilot 40% 330 Recover and Build

I goofed fellas. I accidently put this photo in the covering contest thread. It really should have been here. Sorry for the confusion. I now have the fuse stripped. Not too much residue left behind. A couple of spots of yellow like when I recovered the Behemoth Yak (1). But not a problem. I...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Personally, I say whatever works for you is the ticket. I had to chuckle as I was reading a thread on another site last night. It seems the general concenses is that no one should "EVER" go from nitro or electric straight to a large plane like a 40 center. I chuckled because that is basically...

Pilot 40% 330 Recover and Build

See? I bet you fellas thought I was blowin' smoke. The 330 is poised and primed for the removal of her covering. I'm going to go burn some electrons as soon as my last 3s Lipo is done baking. But until then, we're going to get this party started by removing her legs.

Pilot 40% 330 Recover and Build

Well after pretty much two full days of testing components with my multimeter, checking this and trying that...it was still failing with a code 33. F.R.S. (Flame Rollout Switch) Indicating either the flames from the burners are rolling out the front of the burners due to a blockage. Or...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Wait till you learn how to back a 40 center down and let your rudder go bump dancing... (Not the same as break dancing) on the runway two feet from your face. Now that is a rush of excitement.
