Looks like a nice item Richo. I always like your videos. A friend and I were at the field yesterday and we were laughing about the one you did a few years ago about oil and expecting to find diamonds in a cylinder because there was so much carbon.:lol2:- Jetpainter

Favorite connectors
With the wire tinned it doesn't take a lot of solder to make a nice joint. I just make sure when I put some in the end I don't over fill it. I've had a few spill over and had to do some filing. But I've found the biggest problem for snapping the blue end on is cheap terminals. The e-Flight ones...- Jetpainter

At this point I'm still hoping that is what the problem is. I'm going to use Berryman Chem-Dip Carb and parts cleaner. @Robotech said he had good results with it. I've got well over 100 flights on this can and it was used when I got it so I have no idea how old it is.- Jetpainter

I finished swapping the GP61 into my Pilot Edge last night and took it flying today. I was expecting it to be a beast, but it was far from it. Pilot is certainly still here. Chief Aircraft sells them and you'll find several threads here about them. Their free wood for repairs is a pretty awesome feature and the airplanes fly great.- Jetpainter

I've been working on swapping the DA50 in my Pilot Edge for a GP61. The DA has been absolutely the most reliable engine I've ever owned, but the plane needs more power and the GP61 can certainly provide that. Tygon isn't quite as prone to that as Viton. Viton is more flexible to start with and stays that way so I run a piece of brass tube even on a small tank with Viton.- Jetpainter
