WOW! Did not expect that turn of events... First off, praying for your wife and a speedy recovery. That sounds terrible, but am super happy to hear that it went well! Family trumps this forum any day. Those photos are BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely gorgeous. We just got snow... and it rained...

I think my throttle curve is mostly mechanical. I try to follow this guideline as much as possible for a linear response. I'm using a Futaba 18SZ, not sure what you system is. I use a splined throttle curve to get the response I desire through the AFR menu. Which usually equates to a gradual...

Ugggg sorry man, that's no fun. I'm a little curious how it got stuck in the first place. Those bolts are pretty tough... guessing it was over torqued a bit (stretched the bolt) and/or locktitie? Given that the bolt snapped would concern me, either poor quality hardware or you did something it...

Got out to fly it! Need to shim the horizontal and add more weight to the nose. Amazed how much penetration it has during a throw wow. Hard to tell just how it handled because it was pretty tail heavy. My flying buddy has a hawk as well and his was heavier than mine he said.. before adding...

Finally getting my mini dart DLG ready. It’s only taken YEARS. So much head scratching and issues (my fault). Made a new tail even! Got my programming figured put for flaperons, just need to add some ballast to the nose. Without ballast she’s 4.85oz. Not too bad for a glass foam core 1m glider...

When making your poly snake skin sheathing, after cutting to length I like to lightly burn the edges with a torch, it will keep the ends from unraveling. Then I use marine/adhesive lined heat shrink to keep the ends from vibrating into the wiring and it helps stick it in place.

I could try and get those measurements. If it were me I'd probably just measure you're current distance and just go to the hardware store and find a few different pound size springs to find what you'd like best. Measurements wont help if you cannot get the correct lb tension.

Seriously! @TonyHallo when looking at your pictures, there is so much attention to detail in your craftmanship from fixtures to building I am impressed. It's total eye candy to me. As far as the window tinting goes, there is a thread floating around here somewhere... Use Automotive Taillight...

Sounds like Skywing needs to come out with Bipe! LOL I love how fast I can put my 91" ARS together. It takes me longer to hand crank my fuel into the tank... maybe I should finally get an electric pump.

After understanding 3DP limitations and our own designing capabilities, the possibilities and designs keep presenting themselves. It's very rewarding to create from a thought or an idea. What if I could???.... eureka! Speaking of uploading, I uploaded the LED holder last night!

I've seen and done quite a few full scale window replacements. There is a LOT of different techniques. There does seem to be a trend of applying a strip of felt where on the inner surface (bonded to the frame) and then sealing the outer surface with two part sealant such as Proseal. I think the...

Was debating how and where to mount my LEDs for the tech aero and the AR switch. Both were different styles with the same 5mm LEDs and I didn’t care for either. So why not draw one up and 3DPrint one!?! From drawing to being printed in less than 45min I am thrilled with the outcome! Another...

I guess waxing my plane paid off. Had a guy come check out the 91” ARS and was just in awe. He was petting my plane LOL!!!!! Running his hand across the glossy cowl LOL. I’d say that’s a pretty good compliment regardless if I didn’t want him touching my plane. Oh well, some people just gotta...
