That aint to shabby. Is it hotter than hell up there too!? Shoot......My old (I mean sold) DA120 was a solid 6500 with the 29x9 with only a few gallons thru it. Acceleration was INSANE tho. Hows the foot pedal on that RCGF?- 49dimes

I can't believe I went out flying today. DB temp 96 Heat Index 108. The EME 60 held in there strong tho because I sure did not. Ended up passing the sticks to my good friend Raiko. DA 120 with onboard Tach.
Being that the prop hub is fluted and tapered on the back side I was able to bench mark with a hand punch and use a hand drill to drill and tap the holes with out having to remove the prop hub. The wall thickness of the crank case front bearing bore is about 3/16". I would imagine your DA100 is...- 49dimes

DA 120 with onboard Tach.
That will get the job done! My DA 70 did not have the additional holes either so I made some and tapped to 6-32 because all my 4-40 taps are broken. Need to get to the hardware store.- 49dimes

Bull Engines BE 124 Twin Review and Testing
So if the 75cc twin will fit in cowls with at least 11.5" width's then I would opt for the 75cc if the engine weight is about 4 pounds +or-. I don't mind if the plugs are angled down or strait. A little bit higher. With the 15x7 carbon I was getting barely 1000watts. The 16x8 1300watts. Motor is good for 1800watts so there is head room left and surprisingly everything runs pretty cool (95-100 degrees) in the hot weather! With the 90c packs power is incredible with the 16x8. Yes I am. Very light plane! 5 pounds w/o battery. My 3300 6S Nanno Tech's are brand new and need a few more cycles (deep) to reach their potential. I suspect about 6 minutes or better once their "broke in". I was really surprised how well the 10c 5200's did in series. Not quite the punch of the...- 49dimes

Some more stick time with the radio and Aura 8. A 6S 90c 3300 lipo went 5 minutes and land now. I paired two 3S 10c 5200's in series and got solid seven minutes of 3D flying and land with reserve power. I am really liking this radio. Finally able to stock up on 3- 10 channel and 3- 6 channel...- 49dimes

I have pretty much been looking at other "lunchable" things to do as well. Just to hot, sticky and miserable to enjoy the great outdoors with a flying machine. So I build CHEESEBURGERS instead.......:happy:.- 49dimes
