I got a few photos from yesterday. Nothing new or different than already posted. But I did get the all up weight. Not quite 26 lbs. as hoped. However, still lighter than my previous Edge. The new Edge tips the scales at 27 lbs. I have contemplated the same exhaust as the previous. MTW 75's and...- stangflyer

Idaho weather. Don't like it? Wait five minutes...it will change. Probably won't like the change either. Chilly, cloudy...the sky is spitting. Guess I'll start working on the Yak. "Again"! Lol. You're welcome. Happy to help if I can. I won't even suggest everyone has problems with their 3w ignition. For me to have sporadic and inconsistent missing, coughs, backfires, total plane glitches etc., and have all that instantly gone simply by replacing the ignition module was enough proof...- stangflyer

Nothing too elaborate David. About three years ago, I started having issues with the ignition module on my 157cs. Somewhere around 35 or so flights. By flight 50, it was really getting bad. I had heard that even though 3W had upgraded their ignitions...(Which was the most recent on the 157) they...- stangflyer

I had one of those. Man...what a wild ride that plane was. I loved mine. LOTS of power. Who knew you could start going straight up at 60 or so and gain speed headed straight up? Too bad I got rid of mine. Now that....is majestic. Bring it on... Good looking two winged plane.- stangflyer

Oh I will be fine. But a side note on the Behemoth Yak is appropriate here I suppose. It will be getting yet another re-maiden within the next few weeks. Yup, Yanked the 210CSTS Twin and going back to the 212 CS QQ four cylinder with cans and my own little special upgrade I have been doing on...- stangflyer

I know you are right. More like a Prelude to a nervous breakdown. I don't always get this way with a maiden. But I think the reason why I was nervous with this Edge, is it is so pretty. Well, here we are. Pretty much done now. Only thing left is to balance, place the flight packs and G-Force pilot. He won't be here for a while. So I'm gonna mash the gas and point it straight up while waiting for him to arrive. What all did I do to it? Basically the same thing as straight out...- stangflyer
