    Scale Building a Bulldog II

Amazing what you can find when it is late at night and the rest of the world is sleeping. I got myself updated on your next project. What an undertaking this will be. And so very cool. Funny thing about these darned Bipes. They will bite you and everything else will become, "Meh...whatever"...

Well it's just kind of how my luck goes it seems. After the cowl was painted, I felt very uneasy. It was too perfect. Something was bound to happen. Yeah...no cowl. I like that. Can't screw something up if ya ain't got it, right. Oiy.

Sport JTEC RADIOWAVE 26% Pitts Model 12

No clear coat tonight everyone. Seems like I am completely jinxed or someone is sticking pins in a voodoo doll of me. So here is what happened. I had two tiny spots on the louvers and one tiny edge at the rear of the cowl that needed just a touch of red before I cleared the cowl. So, I sprayed...

By golly, I think I just might have this down. I want to thank Richard Johnson for all his diligence and determination in helping me get this paint right. The man out did himself this time. Personally a more perfect match could not have been accomplished by anyone other than the master. From now...

Speaking of telemetry, the Graupner MZ24 telemetry has bugs too. Killed two of four cylinders on the 222.

I and my son was Futaba for many years. Never had a single issue. When we went to Hitec, I was a little scared. Not knowing the history or the company. However Hitec has proven themselves to me time and again. I hope I dont jinx myself, but I have never ever not once lost a single plane to my...

My son and I bought ours last year and hate them. I used mine about a month with multiple random issue. Nearly lost the Sukhoi due to this radio. I sold mine before I did lose anything. My son was not so lucky. His randomly **** down the ignitions on his 222 and his big Edge did a belly flop. He...

Think this is enough for tonight. Got the motor box cut back and now ready to do a little clean up. Next I'll reinstall the firewall and mount the 212. Yay. I'm pushing for a remaiden this coming weekend. Hopefully the L80's will be here in time. More tomorrow.

Definitely don't have to run cans Kelly. Besides, I like the rough and ready sound of the stock muffs. I'll fit right in with the rest of "Those Guys"! Lol. Kind of different landing though. In a good head wind, I have to push down elevator to get her down. Holy moly, what a floater. Lol

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I accomplished a huge list of chores today. Though I didn't get my Tri-Cities Huckfest shopping done, I did get a lot of other things ready and lined out. I decided that since I was a good boy and played the responsible card very well today, I deserved a little leisurely activity. Hence, I...
