    110" TIMBER Assembly Thread

Got my tail wheel fully mounted. Except I’ve bent the spring so many times it broke. I’ll need to replace it. I think the moment of the tire in relation to the pivot point decreased its rotation. May need to change that. Other than that I like it a lot. 2.5oz more than my other design overall...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I have only heard great things about her. I asked the guys here in town about the price. I really don't know what would be better, clear printed white, or white vinyl. Sounds to me like the one piece might not hold up and not look as good since it's printed. That IS my local shop!!! There are...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Anyone have experience with vinyl graphics/decal pricing. I was quoted $130 for clear decal with white letters uncut. Or $240 for cut vinyl. Here is a clip of what I’m doing, note that the ward air letters are about 1.125” high. The price seems high, but I am clueless. I found a plotter cutter...

    IMAC Scratch build Laser 200

You sure didn't skimp on the material thickness on that control horn. You're prints turn out REALLY good. Do you tap the your PLA parts or use nuts?

    Awesome Video Thread

I was surprised to see that they used a radial engine beaver design over the turbo beaver design to do the conversion. Pretty neat stuff right there. It will be exciting to see a push for new battery chemistry/storage in the future (with hopes of the RC industry taking FULL advantage of it)

Scale 20cc Edge 540 Profile “The Glitter”

So this was one thing I really wanted to do with mine. Airfoil the tail. I was going to copy an airfoil from one of my 3D birds and scale it down to fit this plane. And I agree completely with everyone else. Beautiful balsa work buddy.

    110" TIMBER Assembly Thread

It's fun, and challenging. If you're like me - the little obstacles to overcome that teach yourself a new trick are rewarding, 3D printing is no exception and a down right fun way to see your creation come to life and actually WORK!

Big Torque Servos - ProModeler PDRS420BLHV 420oz Brushless servo!

Like what was said before, the original post had faulty photo's with a different servo that used four bolts instead of six. A mistake, that lead us astray. :deadhorse: John said the photo provided had the information stating it was a different servo, it doesn't appear to be Johns or Rogers...

    110" TIMBER Assembly Thread

3” tailwheel still in progress but it’s looking promising. I may get a 3.5” to see if it fits. I’m getting greedy with this project. The stock wheel is pathetic compared to the 1.75” I replaced it with, then came the 2”... thought I was satisfied, but it drug in the sand pretty bad... here is my...

Big Torque Servos - ProModeler PDRS420BLHV 420oz Brushless servo!

Thanks for the info John. No reason to get carried away in the forums were we discuss lots of things like this. I’ve purchased several servos from you, I’ve requested specs from you as well in which you’ve provided quickly. Whilst we get information and compare servos online, most of us are...

Big Torque Servos - ProModeler PDRS420BLHV 420oz Brushless servo!

@jbeech what is the reasoning behind what appears to be ghost screws that go into the top of the case? Maybe clear up some speculation. This is an older thread, but still has me curious thanks. Been liking your servos so far, not a whole lot of time on them yet.

Top Flite RTC Giant Scale P40/Roto 85 FSI

I’ve already showed the beheamoth master this photo of my H9 P-40B .50 size. I made some poor Chinese insignias on it and painted my own sharks mouth. I like the large incisor fangs, I am partial to this look. Might have to alter the P40E I get from @stangflyer ..... It’s used to have a Saito...
