The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I have the 1250’s in mine and they work great. Yes, I had to elongate the servo bays to make them work. But it wasn’t that bad. Glad to see you making progress on it!

    110" TIMBER Assembly Thread

None that I know of. But apparently they used to be a lighter rubber and they thickened the material to what your seeing now. The weight savings is significant than that of their competitors. It's a gamble with your wallet, but it may be worth it. One thing I was just thinking of that bothers me...

12”x36” for $10 It’s more for cosmetics, no idea when or where I’ll use it. Just for fun really. Kevlar is no fun to work with.

    110" TIMBER Assembly Thread

The AirTops are 200mm or 7.9", I don't think they make a 8.5" tire. The axel you made, was that for the XCub Gear, or the stock gear? It's nice that they offer a 8x12x3.5mm bearing from TopModel if someone wanted to order a pair direct. Thanks for the link for another source, that will be...

My first rc stick build was the sig clipped cub 1/6 scale with dope and fabric. I still have it.... It's a hangar queen. One of my flying buddies told me to move on and have a Viking funeral with it. Have a beer and watch it burn. Get the best picture I have with it, blow it up and put it on the...

I’m going out flying thread 2019

One of my flying buddies used to have anger issues when ever he crashed... he crashed a lot. I kept encouraging him with that same mentality. It's hard to be humble and not loose your cool when your beloved plane bites the dust. He will only sulk now, and let out a little mumble. This hobby can...

Love the lines and concept. Man visibility would be terrible for a full scale. Has anyone ever modeled it?
