    Pilot RC owners thread

The reason I asked was my buddies 107" Pilot Extra 330sc in the picture has a single JR 8711 in each wing and when you pick up the speed the rolls get really sluggish. At low speeds it great. I like to make high speed knife edge passes and do a series of fast single rolls from knife edge...

If I'm reading this right, your using one servo per aileron on the 107"?

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

The moral of the story is don't get old and fat, but if you do, find good doctors.;) I am looking forward to a healthier 2016. Now if my business would pick up I'd be a happy camper.:way_to_go:

The biggest problem I can see with that is it's in the wrong yard. It should be in mine!

It's a DA50 with KS can. The servos are HiTec 7955's on the tail surfaces and JR 8411's on the ailerons. I'm using Duralite 2500mah A123's, and a JR921x receiver. The graphics are from B&E. It's been my main go to airplane since the beginning of 2013. The green scheme has been a huge hit at my...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I have something called Lymphedema. It's a chronic condition that causes swelling in my legs. I've had it for a decade, but in the last few years it's caused other issues like very poor healing if I would cut or scrape my legs. I had gone to 3 different doctors for treatment in the last several...

This is what my physical therapist did to me today. There is more crap wrapped around that leg then you can imagine. Just call me lumpy! The right leg looks about the same only not as big and lumpy. The only good thing is I get to take it off in a few days.

Are you going to register with the FAA? Cast Your Vote!

I will stay in the AMA because to the best of my knowledge there isn't a club in this area that will let you fly there without an AMA card. Not only does the AMA provide members with insurance, it also provides it for the site owner. Weather it's secondary or not, it makes it a lot easier to...

Sport CARF Pitts - Engine Upgrade

Yep, airplanes that are overly nose heavy fly bad. Planes that are overly tail heavy crash! I love when you ask a new guy with a new plane, "Did you check the CG?" and you get that deer in the headlights look.;)

Well at least that answers the question I had about the AMA taking some legal action.

PawnShopMike, GSN's First Tier 3 Sponsor!

I've been accused by my long time flying buddy Tony, that I bring way too much stuff. So in keeping with that I had to have a giant flight box full of everything. I can't find a picture of the whole thing, but this is the lift off section with the starter, battery and glow driver. It was filled...
