Can't wait to see a good picture of the candy red out in the sun! Indoor photos of candies and pearls don't do them justice.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

No work in my shop last night. On my may home from work I saw a guy pointing a gun at another guy about 2 blocks from my house. I called 911 and ended up talking to the law for awhile. After that I didn't feel like going down to the shop. I'll say one thing, the cops were there so fast I was...

    WHAT DO YOU WANT??

I taught myself to fly heli's on a used Trex550e and the sim. Last fall I got a screaming deal on a used but never flown Goblin 570. I really love that thing!

POLL, Please vote, Classifieds Alert Flag

That would be even funnier if it wasn't true. The two main Counties in Illinois where the dead vote multiple times are Cook, where Chicago is, and St. Clair where I live. In East St. Louis about 20 minutes from me it's not uncommon to have 120% of the registered voters vote in an election. And...

    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

Aeroworks style. I drilled the studs on my Secraft wing bolts on my Pilot Edge for a hitch pin. They spin on so easy I was afraid if they ever came loose it would be bye bye wing.

    WHAT DO YOU WANT??

Welcome to the club! I started messing with heli's a little over a year ago. Airplanes are still my thing, but the helicopters are a blast. I can have fun and be scared to death at the same time.;) It is funny how guys you've known for years give you "The look" when they find out you fly...

    WHAT DO YOU WANT??

It is amazing how that little red flag just sitting there doing nothing forces me to click on it. Even though I'm not looking to buy anything I still just have to click on it. I think it's an OCD thing. I'm not sure if I hate or like it.;)

    3D Restoring The Yak

Looks great! I can imagine putting that jigsaw puzzle of precut covering together can be a real treat. It's always fun trying to figure out what someone else was thinking.

Show off Warbird photos...you know you have one!

I replaced the nose gear platform, and nose gear door several times on both of those airplanes. He also had a silver P80 that I worked on several times, but I don't have any pictures handy.

Show off Warbird photos...you know you have one!

Very nice! I built a Byron Corsair for a guy in 94. I never even got to see it fly. The P51 was also a Byron. It belonged to a friend. He built it and I did the painting. The P80 and T33 were both BVM airplanes. I didn't build either of them, but I did do a lot of repair work on them for a...

I don't use them. If I lived on the West coast I'd need to use it, but so far in Illinois their not forcing it on us. If had a bigger shop and a bake booth I'm sure I'd be using some, but we're a small opperation.

Tomorrow's project is to take everything flying related out of the family room and put it in the garage for the day so the family room can be cleaned. I have 25 or so people coming Christmas Eve. They rarely ever go down there, but that night I will move everything into the garage again in case...
