If you haven't seen this before it's a great and very well known trimming guide. It answers many questions. http://www.freewebs.com/scrcflyers/Peter%20Goldsmith%20Trimming%20Procedure.pdf

IMAC JTEC/ Radiowave 3.1m competition series

Nice work! I'm surprised to hear that people would attempt to compete flying a Comp ARF or a Krill since some "Expert" over at that other site told me in my Carf picture thread that they were and I'm quoting "aerobaticly useless". Brian as a Carf owner I thought you'd get a kick out of that.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

LOL! No, like I said, I was bored and thinking about needing to make a new setup for hauling my 35% Edge around in the truck so I can get it to the shop to paint it. And evidently boredom, a pile of steel and a welder equals wheel chocks that weigh as much as the airplane.;)

Yeah, I thought he looked a lot like me when I get out of a chair after sitting awhile. Luckily my flying buddy takes pity on me when it gets really bad and starts my plane for me. ;)

    Glassing and Painting techniques

Here are a few pics of the priming on my hatch. After getting my pilot and instrument panel installed I glued on the canopy with RC56 or Formula 560 or what ever their calling it these days. Since I wanted a flush mounted canopy after letting that glue dry for two days I mixed up some filler...

Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited

I took the hatch to my shop today and sprayed some primer on it. After masking I started by spraying around the canopy area with some black primer. After that dried I used my Nason 421-19 primer and gave it a coat around the canopy, since I had done body work there I wanted a little extra...

Giant Scale RC Why do this? Seriously??

Flying is a good way to challenge yourself to learn new things, which I love. My 3D skills leave a lot to be desired, but I'm learning and getting better all the time. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. That's why I bought a heli last fall, to learn something new.

Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited

Tonight I filled in the seam between the canopy and the hatch. I used canopy glue to install the canopy, and since it stays flexible, I was afraid just to go directly over it with polyester glaze/filler, so I tried something new. I mixed up a small amount of the Z-Poxy finishing resin and added...

    3D Shop Construction

You remind me of an electrician friend of mine. He doesn't do much house wiring anymore, but he help me with a project once and every screw in every switch and receptacle had to be clocked the same direction or he wasn't happy. When he runs a bank of conduit on an industrial job now days it...
