    Anybody know what the plug gap should be for a 1/4-32 (ME8 style) spark plug?? It's for a RCGF21cc Twin. I cannot seem to find this information anywhere.

    huh. how much sub-trim? I always use a little as possible and make the mechanical linkage as close as reasonably possible before using any sub trim without having a programmable servo. I know that the little micros will go nuts if you use too much trim without adjusting the mechanical linkage...

    So when you change from D/R settings via switch (with subtrim input plugged into the radio prior) you can see the centering change on the control services?? sounds like a faulty radio to me... Does it do this on a different model?

    Lookin good! I have used a nibbler for hours... have gotten blisters and callouses like crazy!! ha ha. Then one day someone showed be the power nibbler... awesome!

    Ok, so after another unwanted extensive ground run it transitions much smother and much more power. However it still does not want to idle. So I started looking into it... Timing was pretty retarded, maybe 36btdc. So I adjusted it to about 28-30btdc. Each cylinder is about 2-3 degrees different...

    Futaba R6208SB, brand spankin new. Curious if the Tech Aero was emitting feed back causing the brief interruption. I soldered two leads (Y-Harness with two Rx plugs and on Deans batt plug) to from the battery deans connector to the receiver to share the load, so I don't think it had a bad...

I flew for eight minutes, was in a semi-knife edge pass (going the other direction this time) about the same distance (roughly 100-150 yards) and I got locked...

    No I believe you! Why else would the mfgr say do a 20 min ground run!?!? It must be unique to this size of gas engine. As long as it's running rich with a higher oil content, and it's not scorching outside... I'd rather do a long ground run, then have an unreliable idle to land/fly my airplane...

    ha ha! I'm kind of wondering if they say to do a long ground run like this because it will accelerate the break-in time exponentially for this little twin for a more reliable idle? I've ran an 8oz tank through it pretty rich, and it's producing a lot of black sludge... It seems to have improved...
