I glassed and painted a lot back in the day on jets, early pattern and other things and I wasn't one of those guys that could do a super light job. I did do a small pylon racer back then with glass cloth and dope instead of resin. It's pretty light, but it didn't take long for the dope to shrink...- Jetpainter

An easy way to find all your pinholes is to take a strong narrow beam flashlight and shine it at a 90 degree angle across the surface. Even the really small pinholes will jump right out at you. It works best with fresh primer before you sand. I then fill them with glaze before doing my sanding...- Jetpainter

Yup. I'm guessing I'll have well over 100 hours into the plug, mold and canopy plug along with $XXX.00 All to make producing multiples easier. So in other words I won't make a cent of profit until we sell about 40 kits. But it is fun, educational and challenging, and this design...- Jetpainter

I got the airplane onto the workbench last night a starred at it trying to figure out how I want to sheet/plank the area where the vertical stab turtle deck and fuse all meet, and all I can say is AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!
