    I've seen people put clear heat shrink over top of it to preserve the markings as well. But yeah, it's a cheap, easy method for labeling that isn't very invasive. I learned this trick back when I took an avionics course wiring a radio rack.

    It reminds me of when a plane crashes into a hemlock tree here... sounds horrible, but the damage surprisingly isn't ever that bad (thanks to fluffy branches). The covering has this elasticity to it and when it breaks under tension, it's a horrible sound ha!!

    So I had to switch around the throttle servo 180 degrees so it would clear the fuel tank, shortened the linkage 1/2", then tightened down the engine mount bolts all around after adding blue locktite.
