    My two current big boys.

Nice, kind of looks like the view I had in the Drive-Thru on my way home from flying Sunday. 12657=5825-20140824_131903_resized.jpg

    White rose brakes

I have some pics somewhere, but they are not on this computer. If you look at this video that I made (with the pictures I can't find) at about the 1:55 mark you can see a little of how they are mounted with spats. If I can find the pics I'll post them.

    PAU 30% Sukhoi SU-26 ARF 50-60cc

I second that. A good knife edge mix makes life so much easier. I remind myself of that on occasion when I accidentally turn it off. Besides I can use all the help from technology I can get.:smile-new:

    Charger Case

Finally got the foam installed. I still need to make more slots for batteries and wiring, but you get the idea. 12379=5540-20140826_213803_resized.jpg

    Show us your bling.

Thanks Brian, the airplane weighs 21.75 pounds without the Fred Sanford weight that was welded at the school for the blind. It's to heavy for me to 3D, (I suck), but it's great for basic IMAC stuff. I recently upgraded the power from a DA50 to a GP61. It's got plenty of power now. It's a very...

    Show us your bling.

Was this for me Brian? If so, no I didn't weigh it before. When the airplane was new it belonged to my flying buddy Tony. I bought it from another club member, so I'm the third owner. The second owner bought it as a bind and fly, but for some reason decided to rebalance it and added a weight to...

    GP 61 -Discussion thread

I'm going to try and put some time on mine tomorrow. The forecast says the "Feels Like" temperature is going to be 100 by noon. And then it's going to get hot.:miserable:

Aerotech 55% extra 260 SORT OF BUILD THREAD ???

That or you'll need help cleaning all the black dust off the plane from the tube spinning and vibrating trying to eat itself while your flying.

This really gives the hobby a bad name and some clubs are alot like this

We had some old guy at the field throw a fit a few weeks ago about hogging the field. There were only four or five of us flying that day and everyone was kind of taking turns with lulls in between. The old guy didn't even have his plane ready and the minute my buddy Tony took off he started...

Aerotech 55% extra 260 SORT OF BUILD THREAD ???

Think of it this way, with more than 1/32" clearance you wont need a friend to twist the tube while you pull on the wing just to get it off.:chuncky:

    Charger Case

Pelicans sure are well built, and heavy. The sides of that case are plenty thick.

    Knife edge spin.

You guys have given me all kinds of new ways to try entering the knife edge spin. The next time I take the Edge out I'll try them and see what works.

    Charger Case

For lack of a better place to put this I'll put it here since I built it to charge my helicopter. Electrics are new to me, I was out of the hobby during the whole LiPo revolution. So, when I bought my Trex 550E I needed a way to charge 6S batteries. I talked to my friend Chris from my...

    balance question - Decathlon

Eric, what kit is your Decathlon? And as to your question, there is a lot more surface area behind the CG so it should make it a little more tail heavy. What are you covering it with?
