    I think the most common approach mistake is the "down leg". New guy or FOG. Way to long and way to fast. They cant see it hear it or control it. No way for them to establish a glide slope and maintain a constant decent with throttle control. I call it "practice a dead stick" with the engine...

    Yes they are pre hinged and glued except rudder. Aileron ok Elevator sucks. Might just cut them off and re-do the hinges. Nothing like adding more time to my "most favorite thing to do":face-palm:. Some times I think they do things just to piss me off.:mad:Hey...American azzhole......YOU...

    Prop failure....... Have you had one??

    Keeping in mind "insurance" mostly decides what we get to do but the no metal prop rule IMO is way out dated. Even though I do not fly scale it would be nice to do something that you do not have to have as "static display" but functional . This prop would be very nice on this plane.....

    OK.....Have not yet heard back from Peak Model:dancing-chicken:. Simply asked them to replace the defective part. Give it a couple of days and if nothing so be it. Now I know why they put the nice gas tank in it! And in all honesty....I think the tank may have caused the damage to begin with...

    Really looking forward to my DA 70 and extra 330sc. I would still like to try an EME 70 for myself. I think they are good engines.

    Under the variable forces and circumstances that can cause prop failure it is mostly recognized that wood is the better choice simply for safety reasons (actually insurance hoping liability would be reduced) but that was in due consideration that at the time when engines rarely exceeded 2.5 hp ...
