    Scale NEW (old) Great Planes Chapman CAP 580!!!

    The old one I had in the old "splotches" scheme was a tad over 29 lbs with the old DA100. It did ok! Tractor to speed pull outs but still not shabby. Yours Looks good Terry! ;)

    I have a hunch he is doing this so he can "refine" the inherent flight characteristics and use this knowledge to produce his "new"cap!

    Rob. I have that same spinner and opted for the Mejzlik instead. Bunky made a good point about "indexing" the holes of prop and spinner. Also. You could tell the back plate was rocking back and forth. Edit: I also use the Falcons...They are similar to the Mejzliks but a little less pricy.

    I really don't know why Fergus has not popped up in here....Maybe he is stuck in that hell hole. I think his new releases are going to open even more eyes.

    Mike, Dave's stuff makes a VERY noticeable difference on any engine. I'm hooked on em cans or pipes. I even run his cans on my YS 175.
