+1 on the bicycle brackets. Just make sure you screw them into a stud.... :D I put some foam around the brackets to cushion the leading edge of the stabs also. I noticed on my 57 Extra, without the foam, it started to very slightly indent the edge.

Interesting. I'm thinking about smoking my 89 Slick, I'll probably hit you up when I do.

You ever get that servo ordeal straightened out? I hope so. I'll probably be flying this weekend if this weather holds up. It was 80 and sunny today, but WINDY.

I have a question about the payment; it said my order was accepted and processing, but never directed me to PayPal's page, and shipping charges are TBD, I guess?

I just ordered a 60" Extra 300, to replace my scattered-about 57 Extra. Now I can go to the Bowling Green event with a clear conscience! :D

I'd turn them off when you're not flying... They'll drain your batteries. :p

    3dhs 89 slick

Check out your local electrical supply house; Klein makes a holding screwdriver, works very nicely for such an application. Although, with the engine running, the vibes would make it tough to operate. Picked up my 89 on Sunday morning, Happy Easter to me! The bunny was good to me this year! :)

Built the F18 today, since I was bored. I don't have a spare 7 ch Rx, so I'm only using the thrust vectoring for the rudder, instead of 360° vectors. Odd, the vertical stabs have no rudder function, so I had to use the vectoring to get any rudder control.
