    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

The 3DRCForums -OFF TOPIC- Thread I'd stick with wire gear, but do the "screw it in" method instead of epoxy, that way you have options for changing it if it gets too beat up.

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

The 3DRCForums -OFF TOPIC- Thread I wonder if 3DHS didn't just get a crummy run of steel for the wire gear. Some never had a problem with it, others (myself included) could grease a perfect landing and still end up looking like it pancaked from 5'. My Yak gear is good, I only have to straighten...

Yup. I have a bit of "excess" motor in mine, so you shouldn't have to scoot them all the way against the tube to get it to balance.

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

The 3DRCForums -OFF TOPIC- Thread You can make a series adapter for the speed control, or buy one. Mine balances with the packs parallel with the wings, but all the way against the wing tube.

OK, I see. Although, if I were you, I'd seriously consider buying fresh 3S packs for a 6S setup. This way, if you decide to get another foamy/CrackYak/small plane, you'll already have the lipos you need for it. 3S are alot more versatile than 4S packs, IMO.

Do you currently use any 3S 2200's? If you do, you can use the charger you have now, and run the 57 on 6S (two 3S in series). Just an idea to save you some money.

The 3DRCForums -OFF TOPIC- Thread My brother has a Galaxy S3, and I tried it out for a little while not too long ago. I was clawing my eyes out just to figure out how to use it. Might be for some people, but it ain't for me.

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

The 3DRCForums -OFF TOPIC- Thread Oh, I assumed since it was a "Crack Yak" it would be a profile/whatever the fuse is called on that. It's like a + profile, isn't it? Post some pics an info when you build it, and I just might have to buy one to "R&D" for you. :D

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

The 3DRCForums -OFF TOPIC- Thread $130 all-in, or $130 for the airframe? Not to bust your bubble or anything, but I think you'll find it hard to sell a 40" profile airframe at that price, when I can go buy a "proven awesome" 48" full-fuse Edge from 3DHS for $20 more (not to mention the discount...
