Wow, what a day! I thought about flying today! :( While being stuck in the tube dodging thunderstorms! Does it make sense to have a sticker on the jet that says "I'd rather be flying"? RC that is!!! Sounds like you had a couple close calls to good saves. Have fun tomorrow, don't...

Nice on the van full of planes. Yuk on the skunk smell. I had a similar deal with our cow pasture field the day the cows were all in the parking area! Garage smelt like a 4H contest. Have a fun day. Have a few pulls for me. Stuck in the tube for the rest of the day!

Ok guys, enough on snaps I think we've beaten that. If you want to really get wrapped up on it follow a few IMAC threads and mention ailerons and snap rolls. Prepare for a storm. Or check the IMAC or Pattern rules. In the mean time HUCK the hell out if those airframes. Don't know about you but...

It's funny how people (usually the circle dudes) think every tumble is "out of control". I think to myself when I hear that in back of me. If its out of control why does it usually (no one is perfect) end on the flight line? Hmmm. I know what you mean. " I get caught up on how cool a certain...

I just wish you'd make it look like you're enjoying it a little more! Lol I'm getting the crankshafts down and need to work on some transitions. The rollers are still rough. I watch a lot of Rob Holland videos and like trying his slow, high alpha tumbles. Trying to get down the harrier loop to...

Exactly. A friendly way of pushing yourself and friends to get better. You can go as low keyed or ballistic as your imagination takes you. So Hone was that a crank to KE spin? Looked like it, very nice. Show me a crank to wall! See, like that! Or, "oh ya, top this..." Now if we ever played...

There's the rub! Our (well mine and some other's) goal to bridge the gap between the traditionalists and this crowd. This hobby has many many disciplines and each one has passionate members. Your comment is accurate if you don't want to compete and that is more than fine. Traditional...

Extreme Flight School Episode 1: 3D Turns

It's tough because we are out of the realm of "true scale" when it comes to 3D and pattern airframes for that matter. So the "purists" are imposing scale techniques to (really) non scale airframes. Apples and oranges! Try some high energy snaps using elevator and aileron only then do it feeding...

Extreme Flight School Episode 1: 3D Turns

A "classic" snap roll is a horizontal spin- stall and auto rotation induced by rudder. However, there is nothing "classic" about the design and characteristics of high performance 3 D airframes and throws! With the increased surface area of the surfaces and the huge throws plus the design...

When? I didn't see it! Great minds think alike. Sounds like fun. You'd need a third party to judge what makes or breaks as a maneuver.

+1 Was that a crankshaft right into a KE spin? You madman! Very nice! I'm seeing 3D "Horse" in the future. WE could call it "Huck" First one to spell Huck by missing the challenged maneuver loses! So Joe- crankshaft to wall to you ! Show it! Gary, what do you think? "Huck" the 3D dueling...

Cody I just watched this on the laptop (vs. the iPhone) on full screen and man it is better with each viewing. Great slow mo and stops to hit highlights. Really fantastic job. I don't know what is better, your flying or production skill! Ya, I know guys, we all know the answer to that! Now...

Wow a 12x6! I'm running the sunny sky on 14x7 Xoar right now on the MXS pulling about 60A. Was going to try 13x7. I have a bunch of 2200s so that's what I use.

Nice Jacob. Dueling 48 extras! Love it. What are you using for a power setup? I have a sunny sky on my MXS using 4s 2200. I get about 5-5:30 flying aggressively. You were going at it on that one and went to 6+. Was the batt toasty after that?

Nice Hone! You are obviously enjoying that one. What are you running for power? Prop? Batt?
