Couldn't find lam in 20x8 and got impatient. It's only fair that I should have a few props in my "prop box" too.

Oh. Ok! Thanks. I was really ripping the 20x6. That $100 could have helped with a new Laser to replace my 60 Extra! Snowdog has expressed some interest in parts thou so we'll see. Til next months give away. Thanks for doing those, great fun and keeps people active.

DLE 35 RA Mods- Reed Valve, Bowman Ring, Single Post prop adapter

Piped and set up to about 32 1/4" on the ES 30 CF pipe. still on Penzoil til it's gone. Will retune on Stihl Ultra and put the new cowl on. Real clean fit with the header. WEnt from 7800-7900 rpm on a Hover 20x6 to 8700, really ripping it. Will have to try a 20x7 or 8. Going to try the Xoar...

DLE 35 is Piped and ripping a Hover 20X6 at about 8700 rpm! Going to run through the rest of my Air cooled Penzoil mix then start on Stihl Ultra. Gained about 800-900 rpm with same prop. Think I'll be propping to a 20x7 or 8 to get it more manageable. Starting to get comfy with the airframe now.

Who would be interested in an entirely new type of competition?

The talk continues and is spreading a bit. Tyler and Stephen I think are up for it in some form too. Time is the enemy here. Some of the challenges: Clarifying maneuvers Establishing a symbology Length and type of "sequences" Rules Judging criteria Airframe/ ability classes To name a few. I...

Thanks Cody. Too much vibration and beating I guess. In line for a Laser. Anyone need RWB 60" Extra wing...

DLE 35 RA Mods- Reed Valve, Bowman Ring, Single Post prop adapter

All broken in. Still using up my 32:1 Penzoil air cooled mix before going to synthetic Stihl Ultra. Put the pipe on. Starting with the ES 30 CF at 32" from cyl to end of cone (based on a friend's experience). Quick n dirty tune today (had to beat some rain). Flew it. Max was about 8400 rpm...

    78'' Extra

Well, Did a quick and dirty tune on the pipe and flew it. Didn't have enough time to tweak and it definitely needs tuning. Managed about 8400 rpm and the mid range is weak. Have to spend more time to get it right. The starts (although all ready easy) were even easier on the pipe! Had a fun...
