No photos, but I got the Libelle DLG ready for flight, needed a hair over 1oz of nose weight to get it in balance. I think I'll take it out to the desert this weekend and give er a whirl (literally)

Got back from the TriCities Huckfest last night, 2600 miles round trip!!! Had an absolute blast, more than last year!!! Both the 105 and the 115 Laser got a thorough workout, and the 105 even came home with a little less covering on the tip of the rudder :D:oblong:

@Snoopy1 I'd suggest the D-955TW. It'll be a gratuity of torque and speed for that airplane.

Did this the other night, but got my new pants in from AJ Aircraft for the 105 Laser :) Instead of the blue wheel pants, I opted to switch to white. The only problem is the yellow star doesn't match the Red, White, Blue scheme :oblong: A little magic marker to the rescue!!!! Looks...

That's a little too dirty for me  Most guys I know run a choke rod to the front of the engine, where they can pull on it from one of the cowl intake vents. There's a ton of photos out there on the web showing how to do this.

Painted up the Multiplex Mentor in a high-viz scheme for my girlfriend, and finally got the SAFE rx dialed in. Looks fantastic in the air!! Also got the maiden in on my Pulse. Flies fantastic, can't wait to get more stick time in on it. Discovered I had a lower KV motor than I...

Found this little organizer on Amazon for 50 bucks, thought it would help me clear out the cluttered workbench I've got going on. Well, I managed to get it this full as quickly as I was able to build it (it builds fast), and my workbench is no cleaner than when I started... :gnashing: I may...

Essentially, the Aura8 handles all functions of the airplane, it only needs the most basic of input signals to tell the servos what to do. That's how most of these higher end gyros are regardless of brand. They only need to see 4 or 5 channel inputs from the transmitter.

They are likely referring to subtrim. As far as in flight trims, it probably has a method you are supposed to do in order for it to recognize the trims next time around.

Problem is, this particular receiver came out of a different airplane and had an odd trim angle set into it of -16º. Since this was not an off the shelf receiver, the trim angle was not adjustable through the programmer. I had to spend a few hours inside of a text editor in order to modify the...

Been messing with the Multiplex Mentor a lot lately. My girlfriend is wanting to fly bigger airplanes now and the Mentor is a perfect step up from her UMX Timber. So I put a SAFE receiver in the Mentor :oblong: Backdoor programming of the AR636A receiver has been a fun learning experience and I...
