    3D Performance Aircraft Unlimited 300SP

I'm definitely going to do it in the next 2 or 3 weeks. I'll post a thread here, but if you haven't done it by then I'll give you a heads up... in the event I have to order a new cowling, maybe you won't have to. Haha!!! We're using very similar electronics setups too.

    3D Performance Aircraft Unlimited 300SP

Subscribed! I've got the exact same 300 with a DA 120. I'm about to set it up. It has pull pull rudder right now but may switch to direct drive. Glad you're posting this! Are you going to split the cowling?

I have the power! ...or do I?

Yea, I'm going to order the same arms that are on there now. I think they're SWB. When I bought the plane it came with a JR 8711 installed with the pull-pull system. Had I built the plane new I was going to use 2 servos with direct arms... which I could still do because the PAU has the...

Scale The Naked Truth of Covering a Plane

Awesome! I didn't know about that stuff! I'll have to get some! Yea, the graphics are great, really top quality and I'm positive that it was the covering underneath that came up. I will seal them as well to be safe. I really thought it was the rudder or something at first, because this big...

Scale The Naked Truth of Covering a Plane

Yea, one hard thing about the scheme that I have is that the leading edge to a very specific point are black, which is also the bottom color of the wing, and then the top is orange. In order to get that perfectly straight I started with the black and used the factory edge of the orange, which...

You may have a point, because I had to trim it exactly at the leading edge where it met the black. hmm... Well, the next one I'll have to cut it first and then apply. Good call!

Oh cool! Well, I'll try the nail polish. That sounds like the best option.

Scale The Naked Truth of Covering a Plane

The graphics are placed over the covering... which they're designed for... The covering is what pulled up because of where the seam is. I should've ran the seam differently...

Scale The Naked Truth of Covering a Plane

Maybe I just missed a spot with the iron. I felt like I went over the whole plane really well. Oh well... I'll see what I can find out about the clear nail polish.

No, I didn't lift anything... and actually I had the watch faces all printed larger than necessary so all I had to do was trim away the excess after application.
