Playing With Artwork (just some ideas)

Yes on clear, you need to lay down a white base (block out), then the colors pop that are applied on top. Clear is used so only the artwork is displayed on the substrate its being applied to. It might be a PITB, but when done correctly, it looks pretty darn nice IMO. Having said that, the white...

Playing With Artwork (just some ideas)

Hey mine print on white too ;). The only reason I mentioned it is, I have seen some stuff printed in clear that looked BA. This is only reason I suggested it. Nothing set in stone here, remember I am just playing around. Here are a bunch of color variations. If we happen to use this logo. I...

Playing With Artwork (just some ideas)

I think it looks cool. Will your cutter do a die cut? That is to say if I made an outline, will the cutter cut the clear decal in any shape? I I see my logo on a clear detail, cut in to an oval and then the plane protruding in the corner. It will need a little boarder so the drop shadow won't...

Playing With Artwork (just some ideas)

Thanks guys, still quite a bit to do, this is just a concept. Before I move forward and do a final version, I just wanted to hear from some of you guys. I'll wait to finish until hear from 3DMIKE and Superstocktx and who ever else wants to give feedback. Again thanks

Playing With Artwork (just some ideas)

Hey guys, some of you may know I do graphic artwork. Today I was messing around with the forums logo, psst.. don't mind the colors, my 6 year old loves Pink and Purple and was "helping me". This is what I came up with so far. It is a transparent background so it will go on any plane and that...

Imo, regardless of 2 or 3 o'clock poisons, we do agree that ones should take heed and index the prop during the drilling process? This was my addition to the statements made/ tips given on how to drill a prop. :)

    Sugesstions for a 60" EF 3D plane

The MXS is wonderful. It is super locked in, it doesn't drop a wing, or rock ever when in a harrier. It will do incredible 3D, tumbles are insane, rolls are super fast. I haven't flown many EF planes, however I will say the 64" (with tips) MXS is a special plane. If you do decide on the MXS...

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

Ok, now this just my way of thinking, but if you drill a prop in any old position, during a dead stick, the prop will stop rotating on the compression stroke. If that random position of the prop is such that one of the prop blades is pointing down, it can strike during a distressed/botched...

One thing I might add one thing to drilling props, you should index them on the compression stroke. This is to make sure if you dead stick, the prop is horizontal when you land. It's just something I do when I drill props.

    Aeroplus 60cc / 92" Edge 540 V3 from Limitless Aero

You know that's pretty good advice. I think I will end up not getting what I really want if I try to fit a da 50 to it. It seems not many of any 3D planes today were built with the DA 50 in mind. Guess Ill stuff on a giant home made foamy. Thanks Gary, AKf

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

Anyone here run one of these with a DA50? I have searched all over for a new 3d airframe that a DA50 will be the perfect size for. Guess what, it seems that DA50 is either much too big, or too small. 88" -94" planes say 50cc, but everyone says 60cc to 70cc. The 74" to 78" call for a 35cc, but...

    Aeroplus 60cc / 92" Edge 540 V3 from Limitless Aero

I heard the da 60 heck most 60's are rough runners. I heard that they gain displacement via a longer stroke, thus more vibration. I think I would just get the da-70 if ifint just go with an 35% plane.

    Aeroplus 60cc / 92" Edge 540 V3 from Limitless Aero

That's says a lot. the EF 103 is one great flying plane. I was hoping to use a DA50 on this 92" edge V3. I am afraid it will be too under powered.

NEW Twisted Hobbys 39" Crack Yak WOW

My best flying buddy Bill, moved away this summer. We still keep in touch over the phone, and he was so excited to tell me his new crack yak. He's is a huge fan twisted, and he made this video just for me. I miss my bro, but I am so happy to see him doing what he loves, which is flying. Great...
