The elevator servo needs to be installed with the arm toward the front of the plane. It is shown being installed with the shaft to the rear in the manual but that is wrong. Other than that it's a super easy straight forward build.

Mine read about the same on my PL6. According to this http://www.jj604.com/LiPoTool/ they're right about where they should be. I have around 180 cycles on my 6s 3300s and they're still going strong and have retained the low IR.

That's a bummer Gary. At least you've got "a few"other planes to fly though :sunny:

60" Edge EXP Build and Fly

I started doing them more like a horizontal KE spin after Daniel said how he was doing it. Flying level start with 1/2 left rudder followed quickly by a small amount of left aileron and full elevator. Then you're in KE spin stick position and you hold it there. The weird thing is i can do it...

It depends on what you want. The torque has noticeably more power but you get at least a minute longer flights out of the motrofly. The Torque MKII is no joke! I used a ICE lite/Motrofly 4315-480 on my Extra and Torque/Airboss on my MXS. The Torque/AB combo feels A LOT different. It's hard to...

    64" mxs exp

    1. Read directions and watch build videos before starting the build and again during the build(i have the build videos in the first post of the thread) 2. I sealed my the hinges on my MXS...the roll rate increased noticeably and the tail surfaces have more authority. It helps to reduce flutter...

Hitec Aurora 9X Just reveled at the Nuremberg Toy Fair

The 9x cuts the latency in half when using the current Optimas and will make it even faster than that with the Maximas they'll release.

    78'' Extra

Sweet thanks! I'll probably give that a try. Smoke is going on my list but the pipe will be first.

    78'' Extra

I'll definitely keep you updated on the pipe. As far as using a Y-harness that would defeat the purpose of having the 2 RX leads. If the Y harness failed both switches are lost so i'm loosing the redundancy on that side. Is there a smart fly system that would let me use more channels?

    78'' Extra

Oooh yeah that makes sense. I should have realized that since i had a Slick before :p I really like the removable stabs on this thing though. It makes it easier for me to transport than my Slick was even though this is much bigger.

    78'' Extra

Yeah i'm using the SFGs. This thing is crazy floaty, i'm sure i could add a lot of weight without compromising performance. This is how my 9 channels are. 1-aileron 2-elevator 3-throttle servo 4-rudder 5-aileron 2 6-elevator 2 7-IBEC 8&9-Wolverine switch(i got the one with 2 leads to the RX...
