    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

It's not too hard. If i take off one of the stabs on the Extra i can fit another small plane too. Yeah i definitely could use something bigger aha Had a great morning huckin my MXS. Made a little video but it gets blurry a few times. Around 4 minutes the phone that's filming got a text so...

Yeah they look awesome! I planned on getting one until the 91'' Extra came out. I might go back to my original plan though and get the Edge. I think the Extra or upcoming Yak would fit my flying style a little better but they won't fit in my car better ahah I had a little fun today with the...

76% left after 6 minutes? Or do you use 76% in 6 minutes? I get 5 minutes with the torque v2 and 6s 3300s and land with 25%

I run everything from 6s 3300 30c to 6s 4000 30c. They all work great but my favorite packs are my 6s 3600s.

The motrofly isn't much of an upgrade over the torque MKII. The Torque will actually be more of a beast on the plane than the motrofly. The motrofly will give you an extra minute at least of flight time though. I've had the motrofly in my 60'' Extra and have the Torque MKII in my MXS. If i...

Twisted Hobbys - TELINK 48" EPP Extra 330 SC

I know that Ido used a 100 gram dualsky motor so it should work. I was using 3s 2200s, i think it would be better with 1600-1800s. If you have some of the smaller packs and bigger motor it should balance the same and have a lot more power.

Twisted Hobbys - TELINK 48" EPP Extra 330 SC

I think the durability is just as good. The wing tube is a solid rod so you aren't going to break that thing. I built this plane for a friend so i only flew it for a week or two before bringing it to him. If you like a lot of power i'd upgrade the motor to something besides the 78g motor it...

I've forgot my wing tube a few times. I agree that a check list is a good idea. I should probably make one :)

It definitely doesn't have the authority of the 60'' but it's still plenty! The tail surfaces are the same size as my buddies 50cc OMP Yak. It still has enough momentum to flip end over end 3 to 4 times in a crankshaft though. I want the 91'' Extra bad, but i also want the 78'' MXS and 91''...

Ahaha RC cars are what got me into planes! I went to my LHS to pick up something for my little car and when they didn't have it i walked out with a plane. Never did get around to fixing my car :p

That was some nice flying. That thing looks pretty floaty. I thought about getting a 70'' Extra but i went with the 78'' instead. I love the orange scheme on the 70'' though.

I used epoxy at first and one side didn't hold so i redid it with welder glue. It's holding up great since.

    Twisted Hobbys Owner's Thread!!

I have the Extra Slick and i love it. I fly mine in front of the house with a LED kit most of the time. Right now i'm building an ancient TH plane. It's a 39'' Yak 54. I'm guessing it was replaced with the 39'' Yak 55 because the 54 isn't on the site. My buddy said it's been in his garage...

Landing gear will be here tomorrow. I've been missing my MXS a lot since blowing out the LG last week. I'm just glad it wasn't worse. Maybe i'll get a new video. For you guys in Australia this plane is worth the wait and you'll have a blast when you finally get your hands on it. It's a BEAST!
