    Milling and threading. I slightly over cut the threaded rod area, so confirming a test run. . I used the mini lathe to hold the die.

    The head stock will rotate, all though I couldn't figure that out last night. So I moved the x and y handles at the same time. Just a test piece run.

    Big lathe and mill are about 3 miles away at my shop. Almost need a collet for this work. Some cutting but stopped shy and took the part home to the mini lathe.

    I made the connector out of 5/16"(?) steel rod. My 4-40 die arrived too small for my holder so I used my mini lathe to hold it.

    This is a trial wing bracket so I just dry fitted the threaded coupler. Photo also shows the connector.
