The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Did a lot of rearranging stuff to try and make room for this guy.. Had to admit defeat and stuff it up inside the house, since it was the only place it would fit. They sure are easier to store when they're not in a box :oblong:

Aerobeez 70″ Slick PRO Step By Step Build Guide

We had 7 Beez out yesterday, one of them managed to slip out of frame though. Definitely the most fun I've had flying lately, the 55" was a rocketship on 6s!!!

Aerobeez 70″ Slick PRO Step By Step Build Guide

Well me and Bloosee had a fun field day at the Silent Electric Flyers of San Diego club with all of the Aerobeez airplanes, including our Slicks :D The club photographer got plenty of awesome photos so now it's just a waiting game for him to get them forwarded to Bloosee.

    Best 50cc Airframe Around

I wish EF still made the 88" Yak, that airplane flew just awesome. I'd say pick whatever airframe is within your budget that has good manufacturers customer support and has a good following behind it.

    Power systems/ Hitec A9?

I actually had one of those helicopters! 10 years ago, electric flight was something that was more of a novelty, nowadays it is SOP for almost any club you attend. Hopefully we will have even better battery tech 10 years from now.

    Power systems/ Hitec A9?

Especially one of our HSB-9380TH servos. The advantage of brushless is many: lower power consumption, ability to hold torque throughout the range of motion, won't burn up under stall, etc. My 100CC Pilot Edge will be getting one 9380 on the rudder, 9370's elsewhere. The HSB's you could run on...

    Booma RC Intellimatch?

I broke down and bought one to try out, an IM22 V2 that is. Went to go set it up in the Yak tonight, got everything all setup and squared away. Was finishing up installation into the airplane when I decided to put the wings on and test everything. Seems to be completely dead now, can't get any...

    IMAC hobby getting expensive

You gents bring up good points... With so many manufacturers competing for every single aspect, it's driving everybody to make a quality product for even less expense.. I remember when we were using Thunder Power 3s 2100 packs that were all of 15C that cost us upwards of $70 about 8 years ago...
