    I tackled my Cub knowing it would be a 4 yr project, must, must, must take a step regularly or 4 years will slip to 5 or 6. My Blue Angel took 4 so been there, done that.

    Yes, slice the tube, wrap around dowel and Hysol for glue. I clamp the tube to squish it flush with the dowel.

    Marked the 3/8"dowel, shaved with a xacto and sanded for the 3/8" brass.

    Heated the housing up and finally removed the rear bearing. Used Dawn grill cleaner to clean the engine, reassembled and it's ready to run. The custom backplate will have to be replaced first but I'll machine a new one while I wait on a fuel order.

    Ordered bearings finally. Boca bearings was the only vendor that had them.

    Going to post a variety of catch up photos. These were sent to me by a fellow modeler just in case I need them. I will use them as template sizing once I get to the cockpit work.

    I have the money, just cautious with being a business owner and they need room. I have one available space at a warehouse I own that I should rent but thinking about making it into a big hobby room.
