    I grew up stick shift and love them, can drive most without using the clutch after takeoff. But in a city of 6 million stick shift isn't a good idea.

    The Cub is largely assemble and glue. Wood has to be cut to length or sized but nothing a xacto knife or hand saw can't handle. Ribs, formers, firewall, window frames, etc are all cut and labeled. But just the plans, no instructions. There is something of a discussion on the chipmunk...

    Giving my son pointers on his Sig Kadet build. He started the build at 6 years old or so and the project is often dormant for years. For whatever reason, maybe he and I heading to the airfield a couple of times recently, he is interested in the build again. Messy but it's a build.
