    Finally going to take this to the field and fire her up and i notice separating monocote. Tried to touch it up with an iron and it got worse. May need to fly in @stangflyer and borrow his covering repair skills.

    I remember my first flight (1982?) 36 years ago. I spent a summer building a Kadet and was trembling when Bill Cunningham maidened it. Having the radio handed to me is still a crystal clear memory. My dad and uncle where there for my first flight. What a great day your first flight is.

    I'm no 'Jetpainter' but clear coat 'fisheyes' can be repainted and sanded out. My Micromesh sandpaper collection goes to 12,000 grit and then you switch to liquid sandpaper. As fine of sanding products as can be found: http://micro-surface.com/
