CONTEST TIME!! - Custom Sanding Blocks!!

For us builders of rc planes the Byrnes sander and mini table saw is as nice as it gets's. I convinced my wife to buy them for my birthday a few years ago. Somewhere I have a photo of the saw.

    We're Doing Something Right!

I look for nitro planes when I bring my gassers to the field. Just to get a smell of the fuel burning. So many years of memories growing up with glow being the only option.

    We're Doing Something Right!

Thanks, it's hard to believe I created that out of chunks of balsa. They can call them slimers all they want, I use tuned pipes and 18,000 rpm to blow the oil well away from my planes. And who doesn't love the smell of burnt glow fuel.

    We're Doing Something Right!

Thanks, classic pattern planes are beautiful. Wheels up and screaming low over the runway will get most every club member watching.

    We're Doing Something Right!

Here's a picture of the finished plane. The years of hand cut wood photos aren't as fun to look at so I will post a link to my build thread on RCU. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/classic-rc-pattern-flying-379/6819340-another-blue-angel-build.html

    We're Doing Something Right!

I build constantly (around owning a business, raising 2 boys and honey-do's). I build classic pattern planes, usually from scratch but post those builds in the classic pattern forums. As for ARFs I need to get my H9 3.1 Sukhoi in the air this year. Currently watching used engine sales. As...

    MKS Servos

They should leave that servo in the mud for several days rotating. That would end any questions.

    MKS Servos

Yes, i found it over there. Some good comments on the servo and I really liked the facebook video. Makes me rethink my servo possibilities for my 3.1m Sukhoi.

    MKS Servos

I just saw a big thread on these servos. Somewhere. I need to find it again.
