    Not an idle problem per se (chugging, dying, etc) but engine chooses to idle at different speeds. Always fine tuning in flight before landing. David

    I have 2 sons (11, 7) and will not let them grow up with me at the field. I own my own company so between work and my boys I only fly 8-10 times a year. I agree 100% with the above post.

    Not happy with the lack of consistent idle speed on my 3W-106, one thought is to figure out if a better servo would help. Currently using a Hitec HS-5955. Any suggestions on a servo or idle speed reliability? David

    You Know it is too Windy to Fly When...

    ^^^^^ I slowed a high wing plane down until it quit moving. It hung there motionless for awhile as I enjoyed the oddity. Eventually I nosed it down a bit, then a little more,then just decided to land. After that it became a take off, circle, then land at zero speed day. What fun.

    DA170 vs 3W-170.................. As much as I love my 3W-106 I'm noticing 1 lb difference between the 2 engines (170's). That's a big difference. My 3w-106 weight forced me to shift batteries back as far as possible on my 100cc Yak. David
