Yeah I used the fine tooth zona saw. To be exact this is the one I have and I used the blade that’s really tall. Zona 35-140 4-in-1 Saw Set with Four Interchangable Blades, 36-555, 36-050, 36-458, 36-408 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000EROWJ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_o2PiAbJKRYY4H

Or your welcome to use the schem I put on the prototype of an electric edge 540 profile I did. Deff will get the attention of people at the field. I think I will have to require a royalty check from this one if you use it though. :)

Few options I found while looking for a scheme for my Giles as well as a scheme I came up with for my sbach profile. Honestly I think some transparent covering on a full fuse plane would be pretty sick looking.

Zona saw for the win. Picked one up about two years ago to replace the little red handled one. Never again will I not have a zona brand one in my shop. Worth every penny.

Pilot 40% 330 Recover and Build

LOL not the way I would design it. Unless it was something that Stangflyer would want I would be designing more along the lines of a normal fattie size just as a slab like I did with my 55cc profile. All other 55cc profiles out there are in the range of 2000 sq in of wing area. Mine is only...

Looking forward to watching another one come together from you. Might I suggest for the 110 to scratch build a big ass profile around it. I have been wanting to do a 100cc twin sized slab for quite some time but funds are always the issue. Heck we can talk about what you want and I could draw...

    3D 20cc Giles 202 Profile

Thank you. I'm happy with it but as I said in the kit version there will be no CNC cut sheeting. I'm hoping I can get going real good on this and finish the project before it gets cold.

    3D 20cc Giles 202 Profile

First piece of sheeting is installed. Just using wood glue so lots of clamps to keep it all flat to the ribs. Pretty happy so far. You can see in the pic where somehow I had one not line up and I think it’s just I didn’t keep the ribs square enough to the spar and it threw it off a little bit...

    3D 20cc Giles 202 Profile

I have made a little progress but not much as I have been more focused on the DLG I got. If you can remove 7oz I say do it. It’s still going to be anemic on power but it will be better.

Received a new short kit today. From mountain models for the Allegro RES glider. Really nice looking short kit for what it is. Laser cutting appears to be top quality. Just throwing it out there for everyone to go give the mountain models site a look over. The owner is trying to sell the...
