I just run 93 octane from the pump. No problems. I also mix in stabilizer in all my fuel though

    SOLD! 55cc canister setup

Headed and canister setup for the DLE or EME 55cc engines. Both I bought used but have never been used. Headed is the hobby king one and the canister is a front dump style from EME. Whole setup sells new for $80 plus shipping so I’m asking $60 for it all and that includes shipping.

Yeah my arm is already sore from throwing it but it’s fun to fly. Now I gotta get up with the local dlg guy so he can teach me the proper way to throw it and help me go through the radio setup

I haven't used it a lot but I like it. Taking getting used to as it a bit bigger than my futaba I use and the programming is insane trying to use it. There are lots of guys that use them all the time though and I know of a handful using them on 120cc stuff. One issue it has is the trim switches...

Working on sheer webbing. This is the detail around the wing tube. The tube phenolic is laid out so there is just enough room for the 1/16" sheer web fits in tightly between them. Then I used a piece of 1/4" tristock and glued it down in it as well. This ties the tube back into the sheer webs...

I plan on doing a work bench like that at some point. My planer can run up to 12" wide pieces so I will have to glue up my sections in 12" wide. Once they are all planed it will be one last glue up to glue them together.

Ok sounds like a plan. Just scetch up on some paper what you want with some key diminsions and I will get started on it. To draw just a fuse shouldn't take too long.

A on the Giles is 46". The Giles I designed a little shorter though and most other slabs this size it's around 50" with a total length of right at 60" long where as the Giles is only 56" long. B on the Giles is roughly going to be 13-1/2". Remember though that your cg is all based off the wing...

Only thing that will be problematic on that is the wings have a tapered root rib to fit the fuse. Give me a few basic specs of what you would like to see and I can draw up something for you that already looks like an edge in the next few days.

Got started on it last night. Mind you the gimbals are just sitting there for the picture as I have new ones coming that look a lot better than that.
