LIKE 10,000 times. I have been looking into like that Inventables XCarve CNC router. It would do what I needed. Or build my own CNC router. A couple probros have built there own and one of them is a good kit cutter. I have 3 kits at the house that he cut. Great quality.

If by CNC you meen a scroll saw, exacto knife, and my calibrated eyeballs then yes. This is a slab a probro buddy designed. His is a 56" wingspan and powered by a OS55ax on a pipe. He wanted a scaled down version to have as a yard bird so he made me an offer on scaling it down and then building...

All fixed. Added some landing gear as well. Made them really short just trying to keep the wieght down. Will help protect the prop though on landings.

Four more flights this morning and I broke it on the last flight. Got to comfortable down low and it smacked the ground. At an angle. Pretty much only broke glue joints. Version two will get a 3/8" thick fuse. To much twist in the 1/4" and the wing can carry the weight. Full flight report this...

All of my slabs I just use a wire or carbon fiber skid on. Lighter and annoys the CJ's when on a black top runway as it makes lots of noise.

Yeah I ended up cutting foam so I could move my battery forward another 3/16". Seemed tail heavy to me. Agree on the elevator. Took it out to a local park and found some light thermals. Got one flight a little over two minutes.

What kind of flight times are you getting out of yours? Yesterday I had a best of about 40 seconds but was averaging around 20 seconds. Mind you this was the first time I had ever flown a glider and have no clue at all what I'm doing looking for thermals.

Who would have thought a couple little pieces of foam could be so much fun.

Top of the wing and top half of the fuse are both the same color orange. It's covering from value hobbies. The bottom of the wing and bottom half of the fuse is yellow top flite Econocote. Being the prototype of the plane in this size I just was grabbing scraps out of the covering box. Wasn't...

Haha funny terry. I actually still have my slimers as well. Just moving up to the next step. I can assure you though as much fun as my profiles with nitro stuff are I will not be buying any more nitro motors. Once the ones I have finally kick the bucket anything 40 size and smaller will go...

IMAC Dalton 300 ml build thread.

Using wood glue I think you will be fine as it has a lot of surface bond as well. I would not trust CA though in that instance. I may be wrong but that's my opinion.
