If I Amy ask a question I am really slow at building and I use wood as much as possible so things take a little time. Hopefully you are not loosing interest. Or should I just post bigger changes and advancements to much detail.

Definitely not losing interest. Post at whatever pace works for you.
Personally I like seeing all the details.

What size is the plane you build and who was the manufacturer. Nice looking plane.

The span was around 100", I used a 3 view for the overall dimensions and designed it similar to a Hurley Extra. The wings and stab were foam rib design. Started life with a ZDZ 80J with a JMB can. After a few years put a D&B 85 twin in and proceeded to destroy it on the first flight of the new year.

That must have painful on the first flight.
That looked like a nice plane it even had a split cowl. Nice that you were able to install cans. Looking at the plane I am building does not look possible to slip the cans between the wing tube and the landing gear the clearance is only 2 1/16 tight. All the canister that I looked at are 2 1/4 inches and more. And then a little clearance it does not look possible, this fuselage is well over 2 3/4 inches shorter than any of other planes I have and the AJ plane is over 3 inches.

This is strange when they made the cut outs for the servo support they made it below the sheeting by 3/32. So if I sheet the stabilizer the sheeting would not be tough with servo box There would be a gap so decided to fill it in and give the sheeting some support around the servo and easier the cover.

Sometime you got to make it fit. This worked very well. This was in a Bob Godfrey One Design with a ZDZ 80J.View attachment 108792
I like that, like I said before you have some done metal work before. So from the picture it looks like the exhaust gases go to the back and then forward through the plate with holes and out through the pipe with holes. I remember from school that from the rpm and displacement there is a formula the calculate the chamber volume. How did you come up with all the sizes. How did it sound. I sorry when I see something like that I have hundred questions.

Or just shorten a cheap set of Hobby King cans. There is only one baffle plate inside this muffler. Haven't flow this yet so don't know how it will sound but the volume will help anyway.View attachment 108794 View attachment 108795
Looks good and like you said the volume is bigger than a Pitts or those little things that get bolted to bottom of cylinders. That just has to better, thanks for the idea. Will have to do some research before the start of the fuselages.
Looking at the pictures again you actually managed to get the tube out of the end cap and reuse it nicely done.
