Scale 1/3 Scale Extra 330L Build.

Hope that I do a good job at presenting this Build. I will appreciate all the help I can get from all you gentlemen. Hope to draw from all of your experiences to help me complete this build. It is an older kit so it will be a challenge to keep it light and be painted.

What kit is it? Bought a Great Planes 33% 330l kit this past October at a swap meet. It is laser cut and looks to interlock. The instruction manual has a 2000 copy right date. The fuselage has a nice form to it rather than the slab sided planes of today. Hope that is what you are building?

Yes it is a Greatplanes kit of an 330L Extra and the scale is 33%. After going through the the kit some of it is laser cut but the majority it die cut.

The kit comes in two boxes one smaller one with all the wood and bigger one with the cowl and canopy with a few wood parts in the bottom.
The first picture is the drawings all cut up and taped together so that can be used to build a plane. The following pictures are the boxes opened for the first time and having a look. And the last picture is of the picture on the big box of the plane.

Sat down this morning and did an inventory on the kit. It looks like I am missing one sheet of die cut parts and the landing gear is missing. Not a big deal just have make the one sheet of parts and the landing can be purchased at a later date. I would most likely not have used the aluminum landing gear and replaced it with carbon gear to save weight.
