1/4 scale P40 Warhawk

[Blazing Wings]

While I am waiting on my wood supplies to arrive to build the flaps, I continued working on the Elevators. One of the last items to build for the P40. There are still a few little things to make and install, but all major parts are done. Soon all will come together.

Main center wing flaps are done. Working on the outboard flaps. Might get all done by end of this month. In the assembly stage.

preview.....checking how all is going to fit together.

Another preview. Nothing is bolted down or glued into place. Just making again sure all parts fit where they belong. Making small modifications if required.

front and rear canopy frame trimmed. I will make this a sliding canopy.

Canopy rails are installed. Now to mount the canopy to the rails..... Before doing that I will take care of some other minor details on the P40.
Still to do is the fabric covering of the control surfaces and to pull the clear plastic for the canopy.

I think she will be done and ready for her new owner to take over by the end of this month.

Sliding canopy is now complete. Front and back meet nice without interference.

1/4 scale P40 new kit concept 2022 is complete. At this point customer will take over and continue working on it.
