Heck no! GO FOR IT!!! It's worked well for me and allows me to roll big planes around the shop easily, sideways, etc. Just have to be careful the little caster wheels don't snag on a piece of crap on the floor. I put one hand under the tail and lift that stand up a tad, and use the other hand on the spar tube (or PVC pipe) where it lays in the cradle to move and guide it.
