The technology keeps on getting better... and better priced. For the cost of a receiver you can buy a good 3D printer!!

I have it's older bigger brother the CR-10S, but this one (Ender 3) is just a little but smaller with the same features for about half the cost!!! I'm seriously considering getting another one. on sale now for $180 shipped free via slow boat (roughly a month or more) to my door is impressive.
This one is a little smaller and portable which is cool too.

One of the edits was to make a shelf for the edges of the ultra IBEC to provide clearance for the resin and to keep it more secure.

I’ll add more pics, but I am now pleased with this design. Might mass produce and see if I can sell these things for others to enjoy.

Can’t believe I’ve missed this thread. Nice designs!
Definitely could have used V10 when trying to install an Ultra IBEC into the Python.

Once I figure out the best way to attach the strap, I'll "mass produce" and try to figure out some kind of price for these little guys. I'm going to get a k/w usage meter so I can figure out how much electricity it takes. My slicer software lets me add the price of the filament and how much gets used in my print which I'm finding out is not that much. Kinda fun figuring out all of this.
Let me know if you or anyone else wants something they see.

Why do you not just run the strap around the unit is that not easier with slot underneath so the unit sits flat on the surface.

I cant seem to get it tight enough. I may have enough clearance to add more material to the underside and move the screw location down.

I was also thinking of making a barb/tapered spike, which might be a great alternative

How tight do you want it. To get a little tension on anything I tie it down with Velcro I use a little sponge does not need much. I can never get The Velcro to hold a tank in place until I add a small strip of sponge under it.

Made a bunch of different antenna holders let me know if you guys like -em

Nice! I like the coffee straws. They do seem larger diameter than what I've seen? Do you have a pic with an antenna in it? I'd be worried about vibration, although I'm sure it's fine. Thanks for sharing! You could make a dual one, 45deg, facing aft too! Curious what the antenna entrance looks like. Well done

I made some duel ones, All of the mounts can be mirrored in the slicer. I was thinking of doing an aft facing one but I think it might be too much bend for the antenna
