3dhs announced today the 91" Yak 60cc plane "is a go!"
They expect it to arrive in late 2013!!!

Freakin awesome!!!

Wasn't it "a go" before? Does this mean it is going into production soon?

The two shown and flown so far were developmental versions for testing.

Guess they passed the test and are in the production queue.

but now that i have seen this one...

Watched Joe fly the 60cc Yak many times at SEFF! I'm sold now to just figure out how to afford one this fall! Yikes!

Build wise, they build a little quicker and easier. They come pre-hinged and are a little more pre-fabed.

They both fly very well, but the EF planes have shown to be a little stronger than the 3DH kits.

Both make great kits:

EF= More durable, faster flying.

3DH= lighter/floatier, and quicker to build.
