Yep redwing is real good also at bringing value and having replacement parts avail. I like redwing a lot
but 3dhs and extreme flight sell all there most popular planes out before anyone else does.
price doesn't seem to be a issue with anyone buying them . and I don't think it ever would
I do not see redwing putting out any smaller electric planes. I know 3dhs and EF put out a quality of bird in the 60'' and under size class I have never seen any other company reproduce. :scaredchair:
Redwing actually has a 58" Extra prototype. bbrown2828 has one and is working on it right now, so I would say they are definitely interested in that market as well.
I can't seem to find the Redwing Extra prototype.
I see AKfreak is working on an [thread=2525]Extra design from Flight Model[/thread]
If you do facebook, the RedwingRC owners group has some pictures of it. Blake posted them up there.

What's your take? Pro's? Con's?
For me, Tower Hobbies is the gold standard of customer service in the hobby. Anytime I call, a nice lady answers and she always says she is sorry the part was missing or broken and that she will send out a replacement part immediately.
I realize that Tower Hobbies is probably 10 times (or 100 times or maybe 1000 times) bigger than 3DHS and EF combined. But if a merger allows 3DHS and EF to get just a little closer to the Tower Hobbies customer service level, it'll be a great thing for the customer. It's already well known that both 3DHS and EF sell fantastic airframes.
