Alex is telling me to get a $100 motrolfly instead of a $75 hacker and he says to ask the general population which is better. So, are the motrolflys good enough to justify the extra money?

Not the best place for a power debate, as we have an entire forum for that... but both motors are good...

I am not knocking Hacker at all, but I absolutely love the Motrolfly motors I am running/have run. Had the 3615-750 in my 51 Slick and it was a TON of power. Currently I have various motors from Motrolfly in my 42 slick, 60 EF edge, 57 3dhs extra and have had others. The 4315 is a beast on the 60" edge.
Ken has great customer service and I will be glad to run his products in my future planes.
(now if I could only get some in my store;))

IMHO, if you can save a buck or two on a motor, you should take that and apply to your radio budget. "By the best radio you can afford" is a piece of advice I've seen over and over again. And it's true. Motors and airframes come and go, but a good radio stays with you for years.
