Scale 50% Dalotel 165

started to join the instrument panel to the front part which will be more less the head rest of the front passenger. On the other photo since I 3D printer the cross bars I did a bit of reinforcement , seems to be very solid, right now only glued to stay in place then will a few screws

I like 'em "BIG"!
instrument panel nearly done, still needs the turn and bank indicator
Just like the rest of your build, simply beautiful. Course I would expect nothing less from you. I am afraid of shattering my illusion of the gauges by asking what sensors you are using to get them all to operate like the full scale counterpart. Knowing you, you probably have that all figured out.

Just really nice stuff.....really nice!

I wish but they do not operate, only the key will activate the onboard batteries , I'm not that good LOL

I really don't believe that! How difficult could it be to devise a little gauge that will read your telemetry input for airspeed and altitude? Head temps should be easy. GPS signal for direction should be a breeze for you. C-mon....you know you want to! Just do it!

You know I am prodding you right? I just love everything about this build. Truthfully, I started thinking about a massive, behemoth, giant of all scratch builds. It started when I got to thinking about a custom built one of a kind 3w 510cc Competition Series 6 cylinder. (6) 85cc cylinders upon a single case. Oh man...what a motor that would be. But...but....but what would I put it in? Hmmm..... Maybe a 55-65% MXS-R? Yeah, probably never happen for me. But I "DO" have your build to follow and fuel the dreams of my own twisted mind. LOL

Well its my turn, just do it, and you know you can. But for the engine, just wait till you see the fully scale 500cc Continental O 200

OMG....trust and believe I am chopping at the bit to see that sweet heart. Hell, I would trade every red head I got for one of your new engines. Wow!

By the way, what is the time line on receiving it? They making some good progress for it? Oh and before I forget...going along with their quality and craftsmanship...(which is amazing in my opinion) was the price tag hefty? Just curious?

Not sure yet on the time line but so far Hans told me the crankcase is already 3D printed and he assures me it will be all scale, since he sold Kolm engines, took some time off and he's back with a vengeance LOL but only scale engines and this one , actually I approached him about it if he wanted to join forces with me and his answer was "Hell Ya" As for price I have no idea since we are in this together and at Top Gun we should have one in my airplane and one on a display stand
