71" AJ Slick Building, Flying, and Questions

Looks great! Is it me or does it have the old scheme stabs and elevators on it?

She had nearly 500 flights of hard abuse when I rescued her, so yes, she's got the old fuse and tail. Wings are the new scheme.

Got another 2 flights on her today, 16 and 18 minutes. The DLE really started working well towards the end of the second flight. Got about 1/3rd of a gallon thru, and the break in is coming along nicely.

I've got a V1 51" Slick and here is the color scheme...Gary, your fuse looks like a V2 fuse...?

It does. It would appear that only my elevator is v1.

I have a 51 that is just like yours Gary, got it in the last garage sale. V2 fuse/wings, with a V1 stab.
